Maluma – GPS ft. French Montana

Mulama GPS: Hiphop has transcended many cultures and is now universally accepted. One of those places being Latin America. International artists like Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, and Wisin & Yandel paved the way when they starting infusing Hiphop into reggaeton. But now a new generation of Latin artists are emerging, like J Balvin, Ozuna and Bad Bunny, creating a new genre of music called trap Latino. The heavily influenced genre stems from Atlanta based Hiphop, where Latin trap artists rap/sing over heavy 808 trap beats.
Leading the nu wave is non other than Maluma himself. In his latest song “GPS”, the Latin singer talks in Spanish about not needing a geo location to find him. All you have to do is call. GPS is a about a deadly love triangle. The song belongs to a 27 minute long mini movie called “X” that features 2 other songs “Vitamina” and  “23”. French Montana graces the record with his familiar flow as he too talks about not needing any navigation to find him. If you like this song check out J Romero Loco.
