A.S.T – Respect ft. Liasco Crooks

Arizona rapper A.S.T. drops one of the coldest verses out of Arizona history. The video shot out in east Mesa Guerrero Rotary Park might look simple, but there’s a lot going on here. First of all it’s hard to miss the 2 dropped 1964 Chevy Impalas lowriders that you just can’t get anywhere. Director Joey Freco turns a 1 set location into a cinematic scene out of Blood In Blood Out. Both rappers bring the heat when it comes to their lyrics and spit well thought out punchlines that go along rhythmically with the beat. On top of that the beat knocks harder than your mama slappin you across the head. Chorus is also beautifully executed and “Respect” contains all the proper elements for a West Coast classic hit.
